INITIAL STARTUP
Prime Pump by removing clear Lid cover and fill with water, replace lid cover, tighten both black nuts finger tight. Move Filter Handle to Filter Position (NEVER MOVE FILTER SELECTOR HANDLE WITH PUMP ON) Turn Pump On.
CLEANING OF FILTER AND PUMP
Shut Pump Off, Move Filter Selector Handle to Backwash position. Turn Pump On, Let Filter run until water clears up! (Must do this at least once a week, any time you hand vacuum your pool or any time pressure gauge reads 25 LBS.) “If the water is slowly moving out of the jets this is an indication that you filter needs to be Backwashed” Once water Clears up Shut Pump Off and move selector handle to Filter Position, clean Pump basket if needed, check Chlorinator to see if you need more tablets adjust flow valve on back of chlorinator to control amount of chlorine to pool. You are now ready to turn pump back on.
VACUUM OF POOL
White end of hose needs to be connected to White round Disc (this is the end that goes into your Skimmer) Blue end of hose is connected to your Vacuum Head.
CONNECT VACUUM HEAD TO VACUUM POLE
Place hose into water and fill by either Placing white end over return or hold white end under water. Never place into skimmer without filling with water. Make sure Skimmer basket is in skimmer before vacuuming. Clean pool by slowly pushing vacuum across bottom of pool. Once you have cleaned your pool remove vacuum and store in container. BACKWASH FILTER IS YOUR NEXT STEP.
POLARIS
Connect Polaris hose to fitting in wall, Place Polaris in water, turn water valve to Polaris on at pump (NEVER TURN POLARIS PUMP ON WITHOUT 1ST TURNING WATER VALVE ON) Normal cleaning time is 3 to 6 hours for a 16X32 pool. Remove Polaris from pool clean Polaris filter bag,, clean, wire strainer at end of Polaris hoseCHEMICALS
Never dump any granular type chemicals directly into water. This will void all warranties on your liner. Liquid chemicals can go into the water. Granular Chemicals must be feed in thru the Skimmer with the pump running (shock 1#per 10,000 gallons every 2 weeks, or any time heavy rain occurs, or water appears cloudy.) All other chemicals are added to pool as indicated by your test Strips or Kit. PH is in RED you need to add dry acid at the rare of 6oz. Per 10,000 gallons. PH is in the Yellow you need to add Soda Ash at the rate of 6oz Per 10,000 gallons.
POOL WINTERIZTION
Step 1: Make sure pool is clean
Step 2: Make sure Ph is correct Approx. 7.2
Step 3: Make sure Chlorine level is at least 3.0
Step 4: Lower water level to below Skimmer Face Plate
Step 5: Mix up 4 bags of shock in a bucket with warm water into slury,walk around sides of pool and dump slury into water.
Step 6: Dump 1 bottle of Quat 50 algecide into pool around sides.
Step 7: Remove Drain Plug from Filter, Plug from Pump, Plug from Chorinator,clean clorinator with fresh water after removing plug, place plugs in pump strainer basket until Spring then replace plug before filling pool.

Quat 50 algecide 1 Qt. 12X24,16x32,16x36, 2Qts. 18X36,20x40
OPENING POOL
Replace plugs,Fill water to half way up on skimmer, Add Shock for size pool
start chlorine tablets,add stablizer,check Ph add as shown on water test.
